ANZAC DAY

Anzac Day

April 24, 2025 | Mémorial National Australien, Villers-Bretonneux, FRANCE

ANZAC Day is a significant day of remembrance, honoring Australian and New Zealand soldiers who fought during World War I, particularly in the Gallipoli campaign in 1915.

GL events Audiovisual & Power provided the sound and lighting for the event. We also deployed LED screens to broadcast the ceremony, while managing the network and ensuring the electrical distribution for the entire event.

OUR SOLUTIONS

  • Lighting

GL events Audiovisual & Power designed and delivered a lighting scheme using ROBE iFORTE, JULIAT, LEDVANCE, WINDKOLOR, and DTS FOS100projectors. Additional lighting was installed in technical and sanitary areas using IP65-rated fixtures and Prolyte totems.

  • Sound system:

We deployed a high-performance L-Acoustics sound system with KARA-II, X15 HiQ, X8, and SUB SB28 speakers, ensuring precise audio coverage across all key areas: the main arena, press tent, operations tent, memorial entrance, and more. Over 50 wireless microphones and devices (Shure, Sennheiser, Neumann, AKG…) were integrated to support official speeches, sound capture, and live broadcasting.

  • Video

Three giant LED screens (up to 5x3m, 3.9mm pitch) were suspended or installed at ground level for optimal image display. Two Barco HDX-W20 projectors enabled a monumental projection on the memorial tower. In addition, 48'' LCD monitors were placed in production, press, and official areas to relay live video feeds, managed via Analogway switchers and control PCs.
