The 55th CGT Confederal Congress brought together several thousand delegates from across France for five days of debates, voting, and discussions. This large-scale institutional event required high-performance audiovisual infrastructure to ensure the broadcast of speeches, the quality of exchanges, and the distribution of content both on-site and remotely.
To meet these requirements, GL events Audiovisual & Power designed and deployed a comprehensive technical setup, including multi-camera video capture, large LED screen display, sound reinforcement for all spaces, stage lighting, as well as the electrical and network infrastructure necessary for the smooth running of the congress.

OUR TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS
- Ensure broadcast-quality audiovisual capture throughout the entire congress
Our teams deployed a 6-camera Panasonic setup, complemented by several robotic PTZ cameras, to ensure dynamic coverage of debates, speeches, and audience interactions. The content was recorded, broadcast live, and prepared for rapid release as video on demand.
- Deliver live broadcasts across multiple spaces and via secure streaming
The setup included two large side screens, a central 6 × 3.5 meter LED screen, several stage confidence monitors, screens for offices and working rooms, as well as a secure private streaming system enabling simultaneous broadcasting of sessions across the different congress spaces.
- Provide consistent sound quality in a venue hosting several thousand participants
To guarantee perfect speech intelligibility, we deployed an L-Acoustics system (Kara II, Kiva, X8, SB18), operated via a Yamaha CL5 console. Shure, Sennheiser, and Neumann microphones, combined with a Riedel Bolero intercom system, ensured speech capture, technical coordination, and integration of room ambiance into the video production.
- Enhance speakers and presentations with professional stage lighting
The stage lighting relied on Robe Esprite, Martin MAC Aura, Astera, SGM, and Starway fixtures, controlled by a GrandMA3 Light console. This setup highlighted speakers, discussion areas, and the overall scenography while ensuring excellent image quality for video capture.
- Deploy reliable and secure technical infrastructure throughout the event
Our teams designed and installed all aluminum structures, stages, lighting rigs, hoisting systems, fiber networks, power distribution, and cabling infrastructure required for audiovisual broadcasting, ensuring safety, redundancy, and service continuity throughout the five-day event.
